Our 4-month-old puppy, Milo, recently completed a two-week training camp at Tail Trek, and the transformation has been remarkable! As first-time puppy owners, we were overwhelmed with the energy and occasional mischievous behavior that came with raising a young puppy. We decided to enroll Milo in the training camp to give him a solid foundation in obedience and socialization, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made. I stumbled across this company just when I was looking for another option to get our pup out while we are at work. And I’m so glad I did! This is FAR more than your average dog walking service. This is engaging adventure outings that are stimulating and leave our pup happy and pooped (and we all know a tired dog is a good dog!)

Devon is amazing! So clearly knowledgeable about dogs, training, and behavior. And it’s also clear she loves dogs (and that dogs love her - my dog looses her brain when Devon shows up!) As opposed to a predictable walk around the neighborhood, Devon picks her up and takes her on hikes and to new places with new environments to experience and new smells to smell! She also does quite a bit of training with her. We have seen so much improvement in our dog’s leash walking and overall confidence and behavior in the last few months we’ve worked with this company!

So while a LITTLE higher in cost than some of the average run of the mill walking services, we get so much more in value in terms of training and actual stimulating outings with this company (and we actually save by not having to pay for a second walk we’d likely have to do with an ordinary dog walking service because our pup comes back and just wants to snooze!)

And as a final note, and one of my favorite things, Devon sends me pics and videos of our happy pup on her outings that always brighten my day while I’m at work! If you’re looking for a trustworthy, reliable, company to make sure your pup is well taken care of… you’ve found it! 10/5 stars!

When I unexpectedly got My dog Jasper he was a puppy and I knew he was going to need a lot of work. I looked online and was most comfortable with bringing him to Devon for a board and train. He came back to me with obedience and calmness. Recently, I got Covid and it was really bad and I knew I couldn’t care for Jasper 24/7 like I normal Prior to knowing I was Covid positive really felt sick, I called Devon randomly for help and she said “drop Jasper off as soon as you can and feel better” THANK GOD. I’m so grateful. I know Jasper is in great hands and ALSO getting more training! He loves being with Devon and I’m so glad I found her and I’m able to bring Jasper back to the place he loves to be when we need her for boarding and training! Thank you so much Devon!

This is an absolutely fabulous company. Devon has trained and taken care of my dog Yoda for over five years. I highly recommend her. She will treat your pet like it is her own. She is extremely well-trained in her profession and as a true dog lover. Yoda is always so happy when he returns from Devon’s and all the fun filled activities she provides ❤️🐕🐕

This has been my first time hiring a dog walker but I knew I wanted someone who also had great knowledge with training as well. My golden retriever was having some obedience issues and it was becoming very hard for me to enjoy a good walk with her. She was doing alot of pulling and jumping, she’s also my first larger breed dog I’ve ever had so I knew I needed a little help. So glad I found Devon. She has met with Lucy a couple times a week for a month now and I can see such a huge difference with her already. Lucy is more confident, less jumpy, and overall is listening to commands better. Devon’s patience with getting to know what your dogs needs are, are so incredibly helpful. Devon’s also very prompt with messages, very flexible with schedules, and she even sends you pics and vids while they are out which I love!
I’d also like to add the nicest gesture; while I was away on vacation, my friend was supposed to drop off Lucy at my dog sitters as I had dog sitter #1 for only the first few days. I was stuck in a bind, couldn’t find anyone to take Lucy and I asked Devon for the favor. She replied right away with, “yep, I can do that!” I was SO thankful. Definitely something she didn’t have to do and just a kind hearted person who loves dogs. 100% recommend Tail Trek Dog walking services!
